Women's Resource Center

For more than 45 years, the Women’s Resource Center (WRC) has helped women and girls in southeastern Pennsylvania successfully navigate life’s transitions and inspire others to do the same. By providing resources, tools, and support for today, they create hope for tomorrow. Christine has served on the board and finance committee since 2018. In 2019 she chaired the Silent Auction Committee for the WRC's Leadership Luncheon, in 2020 she began serving on the Executive Committee as Board Secretary and in 2022 she chaired the Breakthrough Breakfast fundraising event. Christine is passionate about the work that the WRC is doing, especially through Girls Lead; a school based program aimed at helping middle and high school girls with untapped leadership potential.

The Wardrobe

The Wardrobe (formerly known as Career Wardrobe) provides a stable source of well maintained and displayed clothing that is suitable for any need, from casual to workwear. While the clothing is available for sale, it is also free for anyone referred and The Wardrobe consultation experience is priceless. Each year over 5,000 people leave the wardrobe with clothing and self confidence they need to successfully move forward on their path to independence. After supporting the organization for several years, Chris began serving on the board in 2019. In 2020, he became the Treasurer of the board. Chris has enjoyed working closely with the organization to help people combat clothing insecurity and succeed in the workforce.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Philadelphia Region

Ronald McDonald House Charities Philadelphia Region

Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of the Philadelphia Region supports families of seriously ill children by creating a community of comfort and hope. Sam volunteers his time at the RMHC of the Philadelphia Region where he serves meals and shuttles families to and from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. But giving his time just isn’t enough for him, as he works feverishly throughout the year raising awareness and funds for RMHC. To Sam, the willingness of his family, clients, and local businesses each year to take part in his fundraising efforts speak volumes of the kind-hearted community of Greater Philadelphia. In 2018, the MassMutual Foundation recognized Sam’s efforts and provided the RMHC of the Philadelphia Region with a $10,000 grant on behalf of Sam’s efforts. He was also awarded the Next Generation of Givers Award by the Philadelphia Inquirer, in recognition of his passion and commitment.
